Jenna is a St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador native with a passion for continued education around mental health and wellness. Her aim is to create a safe space where individuals can learn how to strengthen coping skills, address daily stressors and learn how to develop and practice healthy coping patterns.

Jenna has experience working with individuals in the areas of depression, anxiety, anger, parenting, stress management, trauma, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and self-esteem. Moreover, she has considerable experience working with individuals experiencing suicidal ideations.

Jenna generally works from a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy approach, however, she believes it is important to remain client-centred and adapt from other treatment modalities when necessary i.e. Mindfulness, Solution Focused etc.

Melanie Weinmeyer, B.Ed., M.C., Certified Canadian Counsellor

Melanie is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and member of the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta.  Melanie works from a Client-Centered perspective and uses a strength-based integrative approach to therapy.

 

Melanie works to meet the needs of individual clients through a supportive and collaborative partnership. Her sessions consist of various types of therapy including but not limited to Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative therapy along with Mindfulness and  Psycho-education. Melanie is also trained in EMDR.

 

Melanie's areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting strategies, trauma, divorce/separation/relationship break-up, return to work counselling, domestic violence, family relationships, and workplace conflict.

Melanie is now accepting clients for virtual counselling sessions.
